Overview

Every year, Classy hosts Collaborative, the premier nonprofit professionals’ conference with over 700+ attendees and 63 dynamic speakers.

In 2023, I was given the opportunity to lead the design of Collaborative’s web experience which, in turn, directed the brand experience for the rest of that year's event. I worked alongside my colleagues to bring the conference’s mission to the digital landscape, “Uniting the most inventive minds in the social sector.”

Process

My priority when kicking off this project was to ensure the broader team was aligned on goals for that year's web experience. I held a workshop for the team and walked through conference websites from competitors, and other B2B companies to identify what components from these sites aligned with team goals or improved the current experience overall. True to our conference’s name, I wanted to keep a collaborative process through this project and ensure the Events Team’s voice felt heard.
